Modeling Paste Challenge

If you are looking for my Grow Your Blog Giveaway please click
Grow Your Blog Post Here

Hi Y'all

I joined in on a fun challenge from

It offers a new technique
taught by

Check out the Technique

Angela Holt Designs

Then hurry back and see how I used this
Technique on my design

I know I Know!!!
A Little on the dark side. I was inspired by one
I seen and had to give it a try since

1. I had all the supplies
2. I need this texture to do it
3. I wanted to play with this stuff badly
4. I wanted to be different than the others.

So I was way different!!!!

Here we go with my Skully Guy

I covered the Altoid Box with the new modeling paste
That I had colored a dirt color and added a bit of sand for added texture
I cut up my Glittery Skully Guy and added him to the top

Then I painted him all white

Then I started my distress and staining technique

I love how this looks
the little glitter shards actually make it look like
Wet Mud

Side view offers a little rest in piece (R.I.P)
I stamped into a piece of copper

The top View

I still need to do the inside
But am undecided what
I really wanted to use this for

So there ya have it.. I had tons of fun working on this
The new Modeling Clay so fun to work with
And fairly cheap and easy to make.

Check out all the entries at

Join in and try it out yourself
Its a fun mess to get into...

Happy Crafting.

A Challenge for My Friends

Hi Everyone...

Last year I went shopping and found a pile of
Embroiderer Hearts.
That looked like this
I thought how fun is this

I mailed one each out to several of my sewing friends
As a challenge just for fun
To see what they would make
With this fun little heart
Didn't want it back just wanted them to have fun with it.

I had two responses.

One From

One From

As you can see they conspired together
To make me a gift
That they sent back to me.

Their post about this made my eyes cry out all the tears.
They were so very sweet to me..

Such a cute set of Ornaments I now have

I had my lil lucky dog put down this past year
Man it was hard on me
And I got a new lovely Named Chuck
To come live with Bentley and I

The is one of the sweetest , personal gifts I have ever received
It really touched my heart
And I love these two ladies Lots!!

Shirley sent me a pile of goodies to go with it

And I also made a item with the little heart

I made a credit card holder

Even know I have no credit cards.

I think I will use it for my grandies pictures.
What do your think??

I had fun with my little hearts
and seeing the fun my friends had
Priceless!!!

Deb and Shirley
Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
I love you both

Happy Crafting
